Cooney Family,
Ray, my campaign manager when I was elected to the State Senate in 1976, thank you and all your family for your help, and thank you for being my Legal Council when I chaired the Labor Committee. The friendship that developed after first meeting was a blessing for me, especially the many rounds of golf with you, your brother Dan, and Jerry LaLiberty. I am presently in Florida, if I were in RI I would have extended my sympathy personally.

Ray was easy to be around and always quick to laugh and made others feel good. He was a part of the upstairs cooneys and my family were the down stairs cooneys. I haven't seen Ray since his wedding in the 90's, but to sum it up, Ray was a nice person.....and he let me borrow his car for dates. Many nice memories from Darling street, college and beyond. Our best wishes to Barbara, Carol and Marilyn.
